Envelope Gaskets from ARW Sealing Solution combine a robust metal or PTFE core with a flexible outer envelope for superior sealing in corrosive, high-pressure environments.

Key Properties

  • Design: Flexible rubber/PTFE envelope (0.5–2 mm thick) over metal core (stainless steel, carbon steel) or solid PTFE; adapts to flange irregularities.
  • Temperature Range: -30°C to +260°C (PTFE); up to 300°C with EPDM/PTFE combos.
  • Pressure Rating: Up to 1500 psi (100 bar); compression 15–30%.​
  • Chemical Resistance: Excellent vs. acids, solvents, corrosives; FDA-compliant options.
